You're gonna miss this...

This is one of my favorite sessions I have done recently. Let me tell you why. I think people expect their kids to be perfect and sit still and smile in every picture. Truth be told, it usually is not like that. Almost everyone is looking for a perfect picture where everyone is looking and smiling, BUT sometimes the best pictures are just the opposite. This mom, a friend of mine, picked out more candid shots than almost anyone ever has. It made me smile because, these are truly pictures that capture the moment, and capture how your kids were at that age. Thanks Jen for letting your kids and your family be themselves. I had fun. It is hard not to get uptight during family pictures, I know because I do it myself. Sometimes you just have to relax and what will be will be. Take alook at the lyrics to this song below.     You just made me cry! I loved all of the candid shots because that is how my kids are every day...of course we want the "perfect" family pictures but like you said it rarely ever happens. Thank You so so much for the great pics again 2 yrs in a row :)

    You just left a comment on my blog, thank you! So I decided to check out yours, and I love this song so much. It really puts things in perspective. I just sent a big email to my family about us getting together more and making sure that we don't "miss this". It is very inspiring and thank you for the great pics you posted.
